If the DJ software’s audio setup menu only lets you select one audio device, but you want to use two sound cards simultaneously, the solution in Mac OS is to aggregate devices. The aggregate device is one virtual sound card aggregating two (or more) physical sound cards.In DJUCED™ 40° 3.1.0, using Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite), here is an example of how to play:- the mix (out loud, for your audience) on your Mac’s built-in sound card; and
- the track that you’re monitoring on the headphones output of the Hercules Universal DJ controller.
- In the top bar of Mac OS, go to Go > Utilities.
- Run Audio MIDI Setup.
- If you don’t arrive directly at the Audio Devices menu, go to Window > Show Audio Devices.
- Select your DJ controller, and verify its audio format (for example, 44100 Hz with Hercules Universal DJ).
- Select Built-in Output and make sure that the audio format is the same as for your DJ controller, i.e. 44100 Hz (= 44.1 kHz).
- In the bottom left-hand corner of the Audio Devices window, you will see a + sign: click on it, and select Create Aggregate Device.
- You can call this Aggregate Device, or a name of your choice (for example, Aggregate - Computer & Universal DJ).
- In the list of audio devices included in the aggregate device: in the Use column, select two audio devices (Built-in Output and Hercules Universal DJ).
- Exit Audio MIDI Setup.
- Click on the gear wheel icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen: this brings you to the audio settings menu.
- In the Audio Device field, select the name of your aggregate device.
- In the Master field, select Output 1&2.
- In the Headphones field, select Output 5&6.
- Click on OK.

We finally fixed, thanks to the suggestion of a user, a problem that made so many GamesNostalgia visitors angry: Disney Hercules not working on Windows 10 or 8.1 (in some cases also Windows 7).
